I'm Daniel, a software engineer from Derby. Growing up, I was always the one chasing ideas that felt a little too ambitious for where I started, and that part of me never really left.

Building software is where I feel most at home. I care about the small details most people never notice, because they're usually what makes something feel calm, clear, and easy to live with.

Outside of work, I'm curious about the world and the people in it. One day I'd love to look after my parents, find a quiet place to live somewhere along the coast of France or Italy, run a studio of my own, and make something that genuinely helps the people who use it.
